the rev. angie cipolla
The Rev Angie Cipolla is a native of New Hampshire, and a graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Maine and the General Theological Seminary in New York. She began her ordained ministry as Priest-In-Charge of Trinity Church in Woodbridge, NJ and most recently served as the Associate Rector and Youth Director at Trinity Church in Moorestown, NJ. Mother Angie is joined at St. John’s by her wife, Jenna, and their son, Jesse.
Her greatest passion in ministry is helping people of all ages to deepen their connection to God and to discover and follow where God is leading them. She believes that asking the “why” questions about our faith is crucial and enables us to be transformed by God and each other through prayer and worship, intentional relationship building, and service and advocacy with and for those on the margins.
The Rt. Rev. Dr. Sally French
The Right Reverend Dr. Sally French is the thirteenth Bishop of the Diocese of New Jersey. She was ordained and consecrated on June 23, 2023 and succeeded The Right Reverend William (Ship) Stokes. Bishop French was raised in Toronto, Canada, in a secular home. She was baptized, confirmed, and sponsored for ordination through campus ministries at the University of Toronto. She is married to the Rev. Clarke French and they are parents to teenagers Jack and Libby.
